On Saturday September 17th 2016 the Kings Commissioner of the province of Noord-Brabant, Prof. dr. Wim van de Donk, opened the exhibition ‘Kees Bol 100 years’. The opening took place at Het Blaauw Laaken Kunstkabinet in the fortified town of Heusden in the Netherlands. It was here where the artist Kees Bol exhibited his work until his death in 2009. Reason for his family to organize a retrospective of his work in honor of what would have been the 100th birthday of Kees Bol (1916-2009).
